Acocks Green spread outwards from its old village crossroads through the 1920s and 1930s, so most of what we clean here is interwar: bay-fronted semis on the long avenues off Yardley Road and Westley Road, older villas and terraces nearer the railway, and larger municipal housing towards Fox Hollies.
