Gutter Cleaning in Sheldon

Gutters in Sheldon are cleared from the ground with a high-reach vacuum. A camera on the end of the pole shows what is sitting in the run before we start, and you see the same view afterwards rather than taking our word for it. Moss, silt, leaf mulch and the occasional tennis ball go into the machine instead of over your borders. Fascias, soffits and downpipes can be washed at the same visit, which is usually where the difference shows from the pavement.

There is more tree cover in Sheldon than the map suggests. Sheldon Country Park and the River Cole bring steady leaf fall to the streets on that side, the wide interwar verges were planted with trees that are now full-sized, and back gardens have had decades to fill in. It ends up in the same three places: the rear run behind a garage, the shared valley between a pair of semis, and the short length behind a bay roof where silt settles and never quite washes through.

Once a year does for most Sheldon properties, best booked from late autumn once the leaves are down, though anything under heavy tree cover deserves a second look in spring. A typical semi takes an hour or so: we clear the full run, check the downpipes are flowing and send the before and after images over.
