Patio Cleaning in Walmley

Patios, paths and decking are cleaned to suit the material. Indian sandstone, porcelain, natural stone, concrete slabs and block paving each take a different pressure, and softer stone gets a gentler pass than a hard-wearing block. Algae, lichen and the black spot that sits in sandstone are lifted off, and joints are re-sanded or re-pointed where they have failed, so the original colour comes back rather than a scoured finish.

Walmley back gardens are well planted, which is pleasant to sit in and hard on stone. Sandstone terraces laid over the last twenty years or so spend much of the year in the shade of trees and fences, and black spot and lichen take hold quickly. Decking on the shaded side of the house goes green and slippery, and side paths stay damp well into spring.

Spring is the natural time, so the patio is ready before the weather turns. A visit takes in the patio, steps, paths and any decking, with everything rinsed down at the end. We take care around planting and lawn edges. Let us know the approximate size and the type of stone and we will quote for it.
